Wanted: Enthusiastic Environmentally Minded People Looking to Make Some Extra Money

Zero Waste Pittsburgh is looking for contract employees to work as Environmental Service Assistants (ESA’s) in our event recycling services. Events that we have done include:

• Three Rivers Arts Festival

• Pride in the Streets and Pride Festival

• Allegheny County Green + Innovation Festival

• Israeli Independence Day

The ESA’s will be required to help educate the event participants about recycling and composting and assist them in choosing the correct recycling and/or composting receptacle for their materials. Other duties include, but are not limited to, setup and teardown of recycling containers and signage as well as movement of recyclable and compostable materials.
