HHW Collections
Have you wondered
what to do with the old paint cans sitting in your garage
or basement? What about dad's old chemistry set collecting
dust in the attic? Now's your chance to get rid of
these items with a good conscience.
PRC is the administrating
organization of the Southwestern PA Household Hazardous
Waste Task Force, a group designed to offer residents of
SW PA the opportunity to safely and responsibly dispose
of HHW.
Participant fee $2/gallon—cash only. This fee pertains to all counties except Westmoreland. Sorry--no credit cards or checks will be accepted. The Task Force reserves the right to charge extra for excess quantities.

"To facilitate proper collection and disposal of household
hazardous waste and
minimize its generation through education in Southwestern
Pennsylvania."
